LUNEWARD are an emerging Australian alternative pop-rock duo formed in Tasmania in 2026, recognised for their emotionally charged sound, atmospheric DYNAMICS, and live energy. Blending raw alternative rock with catchy pop-driven hooks, the band creates a sound that feels both nostalgic and unique.
Made up of longtime friends Angus and Michael, the duo have been writing and playing music together since their early high school years, developing a strong creative chemistry and a distinctive musical identity. Drawing inspiration from youthful chaos, late-night rehearsals, and the Tasmanian underground music scene, LUNEWARD deliver performances filled with emotion, movement, and surreal stage presence.
Currently, the band are in the studio recording their debut single, “By The Bees,” scheduled for release in late June — marking the beginning of a bold new chapter for the duo.
